24-Hour Emergency Helpline 01844 292292
Come and discover the world of British wildlife, learn about the lifesaving work of our hospital, and see some of our permanent resident animals up close.
From 15th September, the opening hours will revert to Autumn/Winter hours when we will be open Thursday-Monday.

Set in our beautiful gardens in the heart of the Chilterns countryside, Tiggywinkles Visitor Centre is home to some of our permanent animals who cannot be returned to the wild. A blind hedgehog or three-legged deer can live here in near-natural conditions, where they can be health-assessed regularly so they can live out the rest of their lives in safety.
From hedgehogs and owls to foxes, deer and more, there’s plenty to explore for all ages. It’s a perfect day out for families, wildlife lovers, and anyone who enjoys getting closer to nature.
During school holidays we have expert talks throughout the day where you can learn more about the wild animals we support and have a chance to meet some of our rescued animals up close. You’re sure to fall in love with Deacon, our resident polecat, who is a curious and cheeky character!
With a playground and picnic area, arts & crafts centre and kiosk serving a selection of ice creams, drinks and snacks, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Tickets can be purchased on arrival – there’s no need to book!
