Tiggywinkles, the world’s busiest, multi award-winning Wildlife Hospital is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join our Facilities Department for 15 hours per week. The working days and hours for this role are flexible.
In this role you’ll be involved in all aspects of running a commercial site including internal and external reactive and preventative maintenance, compliancy checks, small inhouse projects and ensuring the site is kept, clean, safe, compliant and secure.
To succeed in this role, you will have previous experience of working in property maintenance or working in a commercial trade and be able to demonstrate skills in DIY including decorating, repairs and small works to internal and external building fabric. A basic knowledge of plumbing and/or electrics would be desirable. The ideal candidate will have a flexible ‘can do’ approach, a high level of attention to detail, be good at problem solving and work effectively both on their own and as part of a team.
