Corporate volunteering days at Tiggywinkles are a rewarding and satisfying way to encourage and develop your team. By working with us, we hope your team will improve their communication skills, team building, learning new skills and leave with a sense of satisfaction whilst having fun and supporting a local charity!
We have a minimum participant number of 6, and a maximum of 15 people. Spend a day away from the office, in our beautiful hospital grounds and visitor centre, helping us make a real difference.
How does our volunteering help?
With over 13,000 casualties admitted to our hospital each year, our animal care teams are working around the clock to deliver the best possible care for our patients. We rely on voluntary help and goodwill and that’s where you can come in!
Our 6-acre site comprises of deer paddocks, hedgehog gardens, bird aviaries, enclosures, and ponds. For our larger maintenance tasks, we rely on our corporate volunteer teams to assist us on jobs we would otherwise struggle to complete.
Your help and support will have a direct impact on our hospital, allowing us to continue to help injured and orphaned wildlife. It is a huge task undertaken every day to clean and feed these animals and this all comes at a cost.
By donating to Tiggywinkles, you will be helping us provide life-saving treatment and care to all species of British Wildlife.
As a charity, Tiggywinkles is completely reliant on voluntary income. We ask for a minimum donation of £10.00 per person to cover the cost of materials and consumables.
Teams of volunteers may undertake painting, gardening, aviary cleaning, general housekeeping and maintenance of our site and animal enclosures. All of which is vital to keep our hospital and Visitor Centre in good order, not only for the wellbeing of the animals, but also for the enjoyment of our visitors and any prospective sponsors.
